Kendra Carr joined KRCC and CPR in 2024 as a host and reporter. Kendra hosts "Morning Edition" on KRCC.

Professional background:
Prior to KRCC, Kendra hosted “All Things Considered” for Interlochen Public Radio. She also produced and hosted a limited series, “Our Global Neighborhood” for the station, in which she interviewed residents who moved to northern Michigan from across the globe, and the podcast “Stories That Heal,” following the creative process at community workshops where participants create music inspired by their personal challenges.

Kendra is a graduate of Cottey College and an active member of P.E.O. International. Before transitioning to public radio, she served as a social worker and worked in commercial radio.
