
State lawmakers are considering requiring AI chatbots to implement new safety measures as concerns grow about the risks to kids. Then, the School of Mines has a new effort to prepare its undergraduates for jobs in quantum industries, and it involves a lab deep under the earth. And, a film about poet Andrea Gibson, who died of cancer last summer, is up for Best Documentary at the Oscars this weekend.
