
It’s Black History Month and it seems most fitting to hone in a bit on a topic that is lesser-known to many but at the same time is also quintessentially Colorado: Black cowboy culture. It’s the inspiration behind "Godspeed," a play now on stage at the Denver Center’s Kilstrom Theatre through February 22. The creative force behind the production is playwright Terence Anthony. He joined us to talk about the story behind the play, its historical roots, and how it brings Black cowboy culture into focus with a historic twist.
